Neighborhood Bulletin Board

Good help is hard to find… especially around here, especially during the summer months.

Have you worked with someone terrific lately? Tell your neighbors about it!

(Individual recommendations are not PBRA Board endoresements.)

The McKeags met carpenter (and trained forester) Brian Gruelig early this Spring, through a referral from Shepsi at Darthia Farm. Brian and Tom paired up to build a fabulous screen porch onto the house—which has expanded the bug-free views tremendously. Brian is highly skilled, good-humored, and he owns lots of cool tools.

If you’re thinking of having a heat pump installed, the McKeags have a recommendation for you. We hired Brian Hennigan of Brian’s Electric—specialists in heat pumps, and especially experienced with challenging installations. Brian and his crew were able to figure out a very tricky situation at our house, and he handled all the paperwork for the generous rebates that are still available.

Willy Andrews is a save-the-day kind of guy, according to the McKeags and now Frank Chudnow. Though he owns and operates Cashly Builders, we know him as our septic savior.
